About the Owner Hobby to Home Bakery

Hi. I’m Linda, owner of Antoinette’s Bake Shop. You may be wondering, “If you’re Linda, who’s Antoinette?” It’s my middle name, after my maternal grandmother who was French Canadian. She passed away before I was born so I named my bake shop after her, and in honor of my mom, who also is no longer here. She was the one who taught me the love and basics of baking.

Years ago, I went to culinary school in Philadelphia and then did an internship and baked at several iconic restaurants and bakeries (sadly, all now closed), including the Commissary, Carolina’s, and Pink Rose Pastry Shop.

My professional background is in arts education and higher ed marketing. Since I still work full time, right now I can only do this on a part time basis. I hope to expand next spring so stay tuned! I’m what’s called in this industry, a “small batch baker!”

My menus will rotate each month and right now, orders will be available for local pickup near my house in Montgomery County, PA. I hope to start shipping cookies soon, and will keep you updated!
